Coach Cutright, who is also a science teacher at CHS, has been part of Colerain’s football program for the past 18 years. He started as an assistant coach in 2005 under Head Coach Kerry Coombs and was promoted to Defensive Coordinator under Head Coach Tom Bolden in 2007. Mr. Cutright was named Head Coach in 2019.

His overall record after 18 years is 181-43.

“I have the utmost love and respect for the Colerain Football Community,” Mr. Cutright said. “It’s been my honor to be part of the program for the last 18 years. I will always cherish the relationships I’ve built with the players and coaching staff and wish them all the best moving forward.”

Colerain Athletic Director Matt Stoinoff posted the head coach position Friday morning. There’s already been a lot of interest in the position. Training for the 2023 football season begins Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, with weight lifting.

“We feel that we’re in a good place at this time,” he said.

Mr. Cutright is an unbelievable coach and family man,” AD Stoinoff added. “I admire his decision to spend more time with his family. It’s more than just football and we’ll miss Coach Cutright.”

Superintendent Darrell Yater expressed his appreciation for Coach Cutright’s dedication and leadership to student-athletes.
